Icy Purple Head is a free physics-based arcade game. You control a purple head with one superpower — turning into slippery ice. Hold to freeze and slide down slopes, bounce on springs and fly through portals; release to grip the ground and stop. Reach the glowing exit portal to clear each of the 20 levels.
How do I play Icy Purple Head?
Hold your mouse button, your finger, or the SPACE key to turn to ice. Ice has zero friction, so gravity does the work — slopes build speed and momentum carries you across flats and over gaps. Release to become solid and grip. Press R to restart and ESC for level select.

Can I play Icy Purple Head on mobile?

How many levels does Icy Purple Head have?
There are 20 handcrafted levels. Levels 1–12 teach sliding, springs and speed control; levels 13–20 add wind zones, teleport portals, moving ice gates and spinning spike bars.
Does my progress save?
Yes — unlocked levels are saved automatically in your browser on your own device. Clearing your browser data resets progress.
Any tips for the hard levels?
Level 7 is about speed control — grip briefly before the jump. Level 11's wall is a brake: ride into it, stop, then slide back left onto the spring. Level 16's blades follow a fixed rhythm — commit at full speed from spawn. See our Pro Guide for full walkthroughs.
