Electric Fences and Advanced Obstacles: Expert Tips
Past the halfway point, the series stops being polite. Lightning crackles between platforms and everything moves. These are the habits that beat it.
Lightning has a rhythm — count it
Electric barriers cycle on a fixed beat. Park in solid form at a safe distance and literally count: on-two-three, off-two-three. Your crossing window is usually the full 'off' phase, which is more time than panic makes it feel. Commit the moment it opens, at full speed, and you'll be through with half the window to spare.
Never make two moves at once
Expert levels love stacking a timing gate right after a precision landing. Trying to do both in one flowing motion is how streaks die. Instead: land, release, full stop. Reset your hands, watch the cycle, then go. Stopping is free — deaths are not.
Use the wall-stop everywhere
The single most useful advanced habit: aim at walls on purpose. A wall zeroes your speed instantly and drops you straight down — it's a brake, an aligner and a safety net in one. Nearly every hard section has a wall placed where a smart player can use it.
Consistency beats heroics
A run that works one time in twenty is not a strategy. Slow the approach, add a stop, shorten the jump — find the version of each section you can hit nine times out of ten. Speedrunners optimize AFTER they can finish blindfolded. Do the same and the expert levels turn into checklists.
